Vision: professional translation
Bothof Translations was one of the first professional translation agencies in the Netherlands. Speed, clarity, expertise and customer convenience were the goals that we envisioned at our inception in 1972, and they still remain our main focus today. From this vision, we have actively contributed to improving the quality standards for translation agencies over the years. Bothof Translations stood at the cradle of the VViN (Association of Translation Agencies in the Netherlands). The initiative for the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC) also came from the VViN.
Priority to quality
As a customer, how can you be sure that your translation agency meets the requirements when it comes to quality? In response to this recurrent question, Bothof Translations was one of the first translation agencies in the Netherlands to achieve ISO certification. Our quality procedures meet the strict requirements of ISO 9001:2008. In addition, our translation procedures are certified for EN 15038, the European standard for translation agencies.
What do these certifications mean for you? It gives you the certainty, for example, that each text is checked by one of our professional revisers prior to delivery. Furthermore, you can rely on a transparent complaints procedure if you are not satisfied. Each year, our quality management system is subject to an external, independent audit.
